Use this article as a guide to checking an Optiweigh Unit
- Smartphone with the Optiweigh app installed and up-to-date
- RFID tag
Connect to the Unit
1. In your phone settings, connect to the Optiweigh WiFi
2. Turn off mobile data (this sometimes interferes with the WiFi strength)
You must be at the unit to connect to it
Optiweigh App
1. Open the Optiweigh App
2. Click "Unit Maintenance"
If a pop-up appears, make sure to allow local networks!
3. When the unit appears, click "Check Unit"
Zeroing the Unit
1. Press "ZERO"
2. Test your weight and ensure it goes back to zero when you finish
Testing the Tag Reader
1. Wave a RFID tag in front of the panel reader
2. The WIC box should beep each time the tag scans and the RFID number should appear in the 'Tag:' section
