Use this article as a guide to manually downloading data
Tools:
Smartphone with up-to-date Optiweigh App installed
Phillips head screwdriver
Introduction
If your unit loses connection, it is possible to manually download your data while you're waiting for a fix!
Make sure to contact Optiweigh Support if your comms go down!
Optiweigh App
To download the data, you must physically be next to the unit
Open the Optiweigh App
Click on 'Unit Maintenance' then 'Connect to Optiweigh Wi-Fi network' then connect to your unit's Wi-Fi and wait for the blue tick
The WiFi name will be Optiweigh[Serial Number] e.g. if the serial number is 1264, the Wi-Fi will display as Optiweigh1264
While in settings, go into the 'Mobile' section and ensure mobile data is turned off
Downloading the Data
Head back into the app and allow 'Local Networks' if asked. The unit should display in a light blue box above 'Check Unit'
Scroll down and click on 'Sync Data' then 'Get Data from Unit'
Press 'Get Data from Unit' until there are no more messages to download
If you can't connect to the unit's WiFi easily, use a phillip's head screwdriver to take the WIC computer box off the backboard and try again
Sending Data to the Cloud
When back in service, turn mobile data back on
Open Optiweigh app -> Unit Maintenance -> Sync Data -> Send Data to Cloud
