Download Files from Yard Scales
Our system will not accept a file unless it is a .CSV file (which only contain one sheet). If the file and it has multiple sheets please separate the workbook into .CSV files and upload them one at a time. For example, the photo below has Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 which will need to be split into two .CSV files and uploaded one at a time.
Please note that each file should only have one date in it, otherwise the system will display the data incorrectly
Edit your workbook and sheet to have one date and one sheet per file upload
Uploading Files to the Optiweigh Web Portal
Then select 'Upload file' (this is grey next to 'New session')
Fill out the required fields, upload the file into the box then select 'Save Changes'
Uploaded Data
The data from your file won't be accessible immediately. Optiweigh needs to manually accept the file into our system to ensure the formatting is correct. Generally, if you upload your file during the day it will be processed the same day. If you upload your file overnight it will be processed the following morning.
Viewing the Uploaded Data
File data will appear as a session in the list of sessions.
Select the file data session and change the time period to 'Session average' and this will display the Min, Avg, & Max weight of the file data.
The file data average will also appear as an orange dot on the weight chart. The individual file data and VIDs can be found in the 'Data over time' report too, the weights will appear as an orange column on the date in the file.
Optiweigh x Yard Weight Comparisons

Feel free to get in touch with Optiweigh support if you are interested in a more comprehensive comparison report
To generate a comparison for yard data, we need Optiweigh records for the same animals in the 10 days prior to the yard weighing event. We will then call you to discuss the results and email you the report.
For any more information on use cases for uploading weights or to get more assistance with uploading your file please call our support team on 1300 678 493
